HAVE YOUR SAY

Step by Step Guide

Do you want to respond to some / all of the proposed sites but don't know where to start?

We've made it as easy as we can for you to register your response with the creation of a step-by-step guide.

Note that in order to save your progress, you will need to register. This means you can save your reponse and login to edit it at a later time.

This guide is delivered by savehatton.com on behalf of Save Lapworth.

1. Go to Accessible Guide

You will be invited to register or, if you have already registered, sign in.

2. Begin crafting your response

Click on It's quick and easy.

You can use Harry the Bot to help you, but please bear in mind we're still training him with all the information he needs and you should probably put as much of the detail he gives into your own words as far as you can.

3. Complete the Accessible Objection Form

Click on Craft Your Response.

Fill in the fields on the form.  If you have files (documents, photos, etc.) to support your response, you can choose to add them.

Once you have completed the form, click on Submit to PDF.

4. Download your PDF and send your response

Click on Download PDF and check you're happy with your response.

Clicking on the red Pre-filled Email button will open an email with the relevant email addresses, ready for you to write a brief email submitting your response. Don't forget to add your PDF as an attachment before you hit send!

If the red button doesn't work, or you'd rather set up you own email, you can cut and paste the email addresses listed, attach your PDF and send off your response.

Please do consider bcc'ing help@savelapworth.com on your response so that we can track numbers.

Help

Can I support the proposed sites?

Of course!  You can use the accessible guide to craft whatever response you would like.  Don't forget that it needs to include points that the Council considers to be planning considerations if you want it to be counted.

Example prompts for Harry

"Please can you find places where this contradicts planning policy?"

"I have noticed that the proposed access point on Old Warwick Road is dangerous.  How can I incorpoate my evidence?"

"What are the weak points around developing site [enter site number] paying attention to points concerning the historical character of the village and the proximity of the development to listed buildings / wildlife."

Harry the Bot (the blue robot on your screen) is here to help craft personalised objections based on your input.  While Harry is trained on  SWLP documents and strives for accuracy, please review his suggestions carefully before use, as errors may occur.

Harry is intended solely for creating responses related to SWLP documents. Please do not use him for other purposes or input confidential or sensitive data. This site, the Save Lapworth and Save Hatton campaign and our community group of volunteers, accepts no liability for inaccuracies or misuse of Harry's outputs. For more details on how your data is handled, please review our Privacy Policy.

Validity of objections.  We bear no responsibility for the validity of objections or the precision of our estimate of the number of valid objections.  These are estimates only.
